The Maytronics Dolphin M550 Robotic Pool Cleaner is the Landcruiser of the robot world, built tough and made to last. Released in 2024, the M550 features the same body and large single filter design as the M600 and M700.

The key difference between the M550 and the rest of the M range, and why we think this is such a good robot, is the removal of the LED and Servo motor. The LED panel is simply flashing lights so this wont be missed. However the Servo motor is what allows the M600 and M700 to move horizontally along the waterline, and whilst this feature may be missed, the removal of these components makes the M550 one of the most durable and powerful robotic pool cleaners on the market.
